Kevin D. Judd, is currently the President-Elect of the National Bar Association and will assume the role of President of the organization on July 21, 2016 at its 91st Annual Convention in St. Louis, MO. The NBA is the oldest bar association for lawyers of color in the United States.
Kevin D. Judd concentrates his law practice on consumer bankruptcy laws, which includes chapter 7 bankruptcy and chapter 13 bankruptcy. He is also an Arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers. He is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and New York State Courts, and the Federal Courts in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and New York.
Kevin has exhibited stellar leadership skills, by being affiliated and serving in professional organizations. He currently serves on the Local Rules Advisory Committee for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Columbia. He is a Past Chairman of the Bankruptcy Law Section for the National Bar Association. Currently, he is the Past President for the Washington Bar Association; Member of the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the District of Maryland; Member of the American Bar Association and National Bar Association. In addition, Kevin is a Past President of the Federal Bar Association, D.C. Chapter and a Past Chief Justice for Sigma Delta Tau Legal Fraternity, Inc.
He currently serves on the Local Rules Advisory Committee for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Columbia. He is a Past Chairman of the Bankruptcy Law Section for the National Bar Association.
